I have been using these for years, any sign of a sore throat and I'll have some... and it never turns into anything, heads it off at the pass. Prefer the aniseed and have been known to go all around town until I find it.
I have been buying these since they were packed in a box and shaped like barley sugars in the 80s. Now I buy the 40 pack. They were great for my children when they had sore throats. I preferred them for head colds, dry throats or just to freshen my mouth. They also have no horrible after taste.
