Overnight Oats: Mānuka honey & Date

Creamy oats soak overnight in yougurt, enriched with the sweetness of Mānuka honey and the natural caramel notes of dates. Easy to customize to suit all taste buds.

Serves 1 

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Rolled oats
  • ¼ cup Greek style yoghurt
  • 3-4 chopped Dates
  • 1-2 tablespoons Mānuka honey + extra for topping
  • Pinch of spice - cinnamon, cardamom or mixed spice

Method

1. In a jar combine oats, dates and honey, add ½ cup warm water and mix well.

2. Fold in yoghurt and chill overnight.

3. When ready to serve top with an extra dollop of yoghurt, chopped dates and pomegranate seeds then drizzle with honey.

Other toppings

  • Nut butter & honey swirl Toasted almonds or nut & seed sprinkle
  • Swap out the dates for other dried fruits like apricots or prunes Fresh, seasonal fruits

Tips

Different oats will have different results. We recommend whole oats for best absorbtion, or cross cut oats for a nuttier flavour.
