Medihoney Antibacterial Wound Gel
Medihoney™ Antibacterial Wound Gel™ has been specifically formulated combining 80% Medihoney™ Antibacterial Honey with natural waxes and oils to provide a high viscosity gel that is easy to apply with good wash off characteristics when dressings are changed. IIt can be used throughout the healing process.

All of the products in the Comvita® Medihoney™ range contain Medihoney™ Antibacterial Honey, which is a standardised medical grade of antibacterial honey collected predominantly from Leptospermum sp. (including Manuka).

This combination of Leptospermum honeys has been put together using advanced scientific knowledge to maximise honey’s potential to support the healing process.

The earliest record of therapeutic honey use dates as far back as 2000 B.C. Honey has been used as a healing substance throughout history by the ancient Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Hindu and Chinese cultures.
Apply a generous quantity of Antibacterial Wound Gel directly onto the wound or an appropriate dressing. Always read the label. Use only as directed.

PRECAUTIONS: Serious wounds should be managed under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Do not use on individuals who have had an allergic reaction to honey.
I am a 75yr old woman. I had an Ulcer on inside of my leg, a hole larger that a $2 coin. After 6weeks, frustrated with very little improvement. I finally was able to get a contact with COMVITA.
